Eve Arseneau, MAPs., LPsych

Psychologist

 

Eve Arseneau is a licensed Psychologist. Alumni of a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in psychology from the Université of Moncton, she has been a member of the College of Psychologists of New Brunswick since 2004. She enriches her knowledge by continuously following various annual training courses to be up to date in the best intervention practices. Eve began her profession at the Bathurst Mental Health Center. She continued her work at the Chaleur Regional Hospital and then undertook another professional challenge with the youth mental health team at the CSSS de la Pointe de l'Île in Montreal. Back in the Chaleur region, she held a position of psychologist from 2012 to 2019 at the Community Mental Health Center, child / adolescent team in Bathurst.
 

Eve stands out for her perseverance, professionalism and commitment to her community. A specialist in trans health, she is the co-founder of the Trans-Action support group which is a support group for families with a transgender child. She is also the co-founder of the artistic evening "Faces with 1000 colors" highlighting the multiple talents of young people in the community who have a mental health disorder. Eve also wrote the preface to the book "Sortir de l'ombre" written by a young person from the Chaleur region, Mathieu Hachey. 
 
Eve Arseneau has over 15 years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults.  Mother of two daughters, her authenticity, her listening and her humanity make her one of the best psychologists in the region. Since 2018, she has been a psychologist and co-owner of the Mind at Peace Center.
